Description
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the NW maintenance department including fiber, wireless as well as FTTH and Hotspot also, manage the equipment maintenance inspection and repair handling all reactive maintenance requests maintaining the uptime of the network sites to ensure continuous service to customers.
- Manage the daily operations of the NW maintenance department to ensure overall efficiency in resolving the tickets received to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain network uptime
- Implement the business plan for the department ensuring objectives of the organization are met.
- Ensure effective resource planning and productivity of the NW maintenance department ensuring technical teams are distributed among the regions and network locations efficiently to ensure optimum utilization
- Assist technical teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems utilizing engineering methodologies and system thinking in problem solving.
- Manage all reactive maintenance activities in the company ensuring uptime of the network sites and continuous service to customers.
- Check all operation & maintenance (related to Dept. responsibility) processes readiness for any deployed sites.
- Benchmark the Operations performance in terms of NW Maintenance KPIs according to a certain
- Pre-defined KPIs targets in cooperation with the Quality department and OMC Department to ensure all tickets are resolved effectively with the required resolution time as per company policy.
- Ensure all network relevant failures are resolved as per SLAs and are assigned properly to the team providing them with full technical diagnosis and ensure resolution.
- Follow up daily the work of Supervisors and Team Leaders, advising and giving best solution for complicated problems.
- Provide input and reporting to Direct Manager regarding network failure operational issues.
- Oversee on the Dept. efficiency ensuring meeting customer satisfaction and processing all requests with the quality standards expected and efficiently utilizing the internal resources knowledge and experience to find the most suitable solutions with the best price and high quality.
- Manage the coordination and communication between NW Maintenance Dept. & other departments like OMC, Support, and others to maintaining smooth and effective communication.
- Setup quality standards and procedures for ticket resolution and engineers’ diagnosis methodologies.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise Radio and fiber daily maintenance activity
- Ensure all company latency business plan are adopted and meeting company mission
- Manage and monitor technical KPI's
- Ability to budget and manager financial related to dep.
- Adopting policy , process and procedure , enhance employees satisfaction and efficiency
Requirements
Years of Experience :10 years experience in telecommunication/ISP or network operations industry.
Education: BSc. in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecom Engineering or related.
