Description
This position develops, coordinates, and administers contracts of services for one or more defined operating entities within the Company. Negotiates, extends, and renegotiates contracts as appropriate. Serves as a primary point of liaison with contractors, monitors existing contracts for compliance with terms and conditions.
Job Duties:
- Negotiate contract agreements for services.
- Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts.
- Prepare and edit contracts between the company and potential clients.
- Preparation of Contract documents, amendments, variations in accordance with approved company policy
- Keep track of the Value of Work Done for each contract
- Ensure the timely issuing of Invoices
- Monitor existing contracts and initiate the renewal contracts as required
- Approve or deny requests for services outside the terms of the contract, and write amendments to cover additional services.
- Evaluates or monitors contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Analyses and approves or rejects internal and/or contractor requests for deviations from contract specifications.
- Analyses price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices; reviews and interprets contract provisions to achieve cost efficiencies and reductions where feasible.
- Serves as a primary liaison with contracting representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues, as they arise; arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.
- Continually monitors and evaluates contractor performance against contract specifications, and recommends appropriate remedial action as necessary.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- May assist and/or provide input into the formulation, development, and/or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for the organization, as appropriate.
- Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives.
- Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws.
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
- Prepare and manage the issuance of contracts.
- Preparation of correspondence between Company and contractors.
- Analysis and negotiation of claims and maintaining claims register.
- Contract Close out.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor. in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecom Engineering or related.
Years of Experience
- A minimum 7 Years’ experience in telecommunication/ISP or network operations industry. With 3 years contract management experience including managing large organization.
Knowledge
- Very Good Command of English and Arabic- Written and Spoken.
- Very Good Command Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint).
- Very Good understanding in all Business Operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Knowledge of contract rules and regulations.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Creative cost analysis skills.
- Knowledge of costing and pricing methodology.
- Skill in the negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements for goods and services.
- Knowledge of contractor compliance issues and procedures, as applicable to a public institution.
